Note from the Pastor

Welcome to our web site. We are excited about our future and anticipate great things ahead. Our goal is to honor and glorify Jesus Christ. He is the focus of our fellowship.

As you can see in our vision page on the web site, we have a four pronged focus and direction for our church. The main over riding emphasis is the centrality of the Scriptures. My passion, as pastor, is to prepare individuals and families for the days in which we live. I have felt for some time that we have a real crisis of belief, even in the church and we must teach, instruct and ground the folks in the principles of God’s Word. There are so many voices vying for our attention and the only way to know the “right” voice is through knowledge of the Scriptures. We teach the Bible at every level with classes for children, youth and adults. We attempt to aid parents with their families in teaching and training their children and we have Wednesday children, youth and adult instruction and ministries.

Our church is a traditional type church with a blended worship, including hymns and spiritual songs (choruses) however, it is said of us that the spirit of the people and sense of God’s presence is one of the attracting points that draws people. Our desire is that people can sense the presence of God and learn to love and serve Him through Jesus Christ.

We have a strong emphasis on ministry and missions. Visitation, care, praying with people, sending cards and calling folks is a strong ministry in our fellowship. We have a strong ministry in the area of missions and faith promise and missions trips are a regular part of our focus and direction.

In short, if you are looking for a place to grow in Christ and see your family develop in faith in Christ, we think that Trinity Wesleyan church is for you and we welcome you with open arms.
